Photoshoot With The Lovely And Talented Charlotte and Jolley
In a recent hair and make-up photoshoot with Rachel Jolley and her partner Charlotte Lambert, I was pleasantly surprised at how great the two work together and compliment one another professionally. The ladies are a super talented photography team. Rachel takes the photos and Charlotte is a master editor, take a look at their blog at: http://www.racheljolleyandcharlotte.blogspot.com/. Check out the photos and get some ideas for your next special event with us! Many thanks to our lovely models, (and my gorgeous clients), Parker, Lindsey and my wonderful neighbor Christy. More photos from this awesome shoot to come!

A Photoshoot with Christopher Garofalo at Christopher Visuals
I love working with the amazing and talented Christopher of Christopher Visuals: http://www.christophergarofalo.com/. He is not only humble, but also incredibly skilled and knowledgable in both lighting and photography. Believe it or not, it was our client's first time behind the camera professionally! This is just how awesome Chris is, (well we are together). ;)

Lauren's Glamorous Wedding
Lauren was one of the coolest and calmest brides I've ever encountered. She is also one of the sweetest brides we've ever worked with. So you can imagine how excited we were to feature her wedding on our blog! For Lauren's wedding day, she wanted an elegant, yet glamorous look on her wedding day which was at the amazing Ringling Museum of Arts in Sarasota. We styled her and her bridemaids in different updos and natural, yet smokey make-up. Lauren was the epitome of a bride whose natural beauty came through, yet was enhanced through her own personal style in hair and make-up. Check out this gorgeous bride and her bridal party at the Ringling...

My Wedding!
As a bridal hair and make-up artist, I've always dreamed of styling my own wedding! Everything went off with out a hitch on our big day. The weather was gorgeous and so were the ceremony and reception! Todd and I were blessed to say the least. I wore two dresses and had two different looks, one for the ceremony and dinner, and one for the reception and dancing. Our many guests loved all of our wedding looks. I did my own make-up and the owner of our salon, Cliff did my hair. Lindsey, Ryan and I styled the bridesmaids and they looked amazing! Take a sneak peek of Todd and I's special day shot by the amazing and talented Keren Macklin and a photo of the engagement shoot I styled.

My Best Friend's Wedding!
My best friend and Maid of Honor in my own wedding, Camille married my other best friend Bill in an adorable beachside ceremony. The reception that followed can best be described as a big party with great food and entertainment. Camille wanted a sexy, but elegant look with an updo on her wedding day. We achieved her look through dramatic lashes and an upswept style that kept her hair out of her face for her big day on the beach. Camille looked gorgeous and tan! (Spray tans are great for Brides To Be who want to look tan, but don't have time to hit the beaches, hint-hint!) As for the bridemaids, Camille wanted us to have a natural, but young and fun look, since it was a casual affair. We achieved this look through dramatic, whimsical side up-dos with a few fun touches. We also styled a bridal photoshoot where Camille modeled like a pro! Check out My Best Friend's Wedding photos above. The first photo is of me and the gorgeous bride.

A Windy Wedding
Some of my favorite weddings are the ones that I get to go to! One of my favorite clients, (and friend), Janelle married her best friend Rob on Treasure Island in an intimate ceremony on the beach. We had so much fun styling Janelle on the day of and I even handmade the flower she wore in her hair on her big day.
The ceremony went off without a hitch, and Janelle's gorgeous daughter Eva was even a part of it and recieved her own special necklace to signify her bond with her new family. The wind did start whipping as soon as we got outside, and the rain soon followed, but Janelle handled it like a champ and we all had a blast, despite getting a little wet and windblown and danced the night away, rain, wind and all. Janelle was the epitome of a modern bride. She wanted a simple, yet elegant look and she wanted to look like herself on her wedding day. Check out the photos below to catch a glimpse of this whimsical and windy wedding!
